Reception

If you have any underwear that you could donate to our Reception class, please see Mrs Day.

School Meals

If your child has school meals every day the cost for next half term will be £54.40.

School meals should be paid for in advance but must not be more than two weeks in arrears. The cost is £1.60 per day. You can pay on line on the Surrey County Council website, by cash or by cheques which are payable to Surrey County Council. If you have any queries, please see the School Office.

Absence

If your child is absent please could you contact the School Office before 8.50 a.m. by either telephoning 01252 548390 or e-mail, www.info@holly-lodge.surrey.sch.uk.

Medication

If your child has to take any medication, this must be kept in the School Office and a form must be completed by a parent. Children must not at any time have medication with them. Inhalers for asthma can be kept with the class teacher as well as in the School Office.

Lost Property

We have an increasing amount of lost property that is kept in the school hall. This can be viewed after school by asking at the School Office.

PC Overington

PC Overington, our local PC, gave the children a talk about her job as a Police Constable. She showed the children the uniform she wears and asked the children to shout a greeting to her colleagues at Ash Station via her radio. The children thoroughly enjoyed watching Mrs Norman being handcuffed!

Parents Evening

It was good to see so many of you at Parents evening. Please remember our At Home on Monday 20th November from 3.30 – 4.00 p.m. This is when you are invited to look at your childs work.

School Association News

Nearly 300 pupils attended the disco last Friday and met our new Disc Jockey (complete with snow machine). The evening was a big hit.

Thank you to everyone who helped.

After half term we will be selling Christmas Puddings and our new 2007 calendar. Order forms will follow shortly.

Each family will receive one book of Grand Xmas Draw tickets to sell to family and friends. You will receive five tickets at £1.00 each. This will help to reduce costs, administration and shorten the odds of winning.

Our Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday 18th November. If you are having a turn-out over the half-term please bring in any unwanted items such as games, books and soft toys.
